A one-person studio
Designloop is run by Andrés Ochoa. He has more than 5 years of experience in product design, brand and front-end. He has worked with Ogilvy, Grupo SM, CaixaBank, Volkswagen Group and Nestlé Group, on first versions of products and on updating existing interfaces and systems.
You talk directly to the person doing the work. We work with a few teams at a time so we know each product well. If there is no availability, we tell you and let you know when a spot opens.
Let's talkWhat does working with a design partner mean?
You have a senior designer who knows your product and takes part in your team's decisions. The subscription gives you the flexibility of an external studio, so you can use that support when you need it and pause when the workload drops.
What counts as a request?
A specific piece of work, such as a logo, a screen, a flow, a deck, a component or an audit. If it is large, we split it into smaller deliveries.
What if I only need something specific?
You can subscribe for one specific project, like an identity, a website or a review of your design system, and pause or cancel when it's done.
Why only one request in progress?
We finish one request before starting the next. You can add as many requests as you like to the queue and choose their order.
Can you build a complete MVP?
We handle the product design and front-end. Back-end and hosting are outside the subscription. For that part, we coordinate with your technical team or whoever builds it.
Can you get our design system ready for AI tools?
Yes. We give tokens and components consistent names, document their use and write rules for tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex. We also help your team adopt AI in its daily work.
Which tools do you use?
Requests and deliveries are managed in the Designloop portal. We design in Figma and Paper and code with your team's technologies, usually React and TypeScript. We can also work in your Slack, Linear, Jira or Notion.
How long does each delivery take?
It depends on the size of the request. As a guide, we deliver every 48 to 72 hours on working days. We split larger requests into smaller deliveries so you can see progress more often.
Who owns the work?
The work belongs to you. We retain authorship and may show it on our website, social media and portfolio once you have made it public. If you prefer us not to show it or a confidentiality agreement applies, we respect that.
Can I pause, cancel or get a refund?
Yes, there is no commitment. You can pause, resume or cancel in the Stripe billing portal, which you open from Settings, Subscription. Pausing stops charges from the next renewal and keeps your portal and files. When you cancel, service continues until the end of the paid period. If you cancel within 7 days of your first payment, we refund 75% of that payment and the subscription ends then. After that, periods already paid are not refunded.
